Earth Day 2016

Photos taken with a Fuji X100S with a Fuji wide angle converter. A shoe-mounted SB-80 DX was used until it "ran dry" and was replaced with a backup Fuji EF-42. Both were shot in manual mode, as nonTTL flash metering on the Nikon speedlight was spotty at best.

There are speed-of-focusing problems with the Fuji, but being able to preview the image "in the viewfinder" makes for very fast shooting.

Evening photos were made with a Fuji X-T1 and a 10-24mm F 4.0 lens. Flash was a Nikon SB-24 with a Lumiquest 20/80 variant (mat white reflecting surface) triggered by a neutered SB-17 cable. Non-TTL automation was used throughout.
